1st Service Title & Closing was started by owner, Jeanette Liesen, in 2005. She had learned the title business at an early age and worked for title companies in the area for 15 years. Jeanette noticed a need for something different and unique. A title company that was truly built and founded on customer care and service. With the knowledge she possessed and strong determination, she and her husband, Larry, opened and grew a wonderful family unit in 1st Service title and its employees. A carefully chosen team of professionals work together to make your experience with us clear, informative and easy, all while making you feel comfortable throughout the process.


1st Service Title & Closing consists of an accomplished group of experienced professionals. We are dedicated to developing our employees personally and professionally. Jeanette Liesen

Jeanette was born in the Milwaukee area, however due to her fathers job, spent most of her growing up years in Missouri and Iowa. After graduating high school she came back to the Milwaukee area to attend the University of WI-Milwaukee. After declaring a major in Criminal Justice, she soon landed a job with a local title company in Brookfield. It was clear to her that her calling in life was in real estate. She enjoyed examining and title commitments, until she was introduced to the closing process. There was no turning back, this was her niche. From then on, she spent her days at work in the title industry and nights at UWM, working towards and receiving a Bachelors degree in Real Estate. Jeanette enjoys meeting and assisting people in the home buying process. In 2005 Jeanette and her husband decided it was time to open 1st Service Title & Closing. The company was started along with great people willing to work and help in the success of the company.
Larry Liesen

Larry has been a Wisconsin resident his entire life. He graduated high school at New Berlin West. After completing high school Larry joined the U.S Army and served his Country for 4 years. It is there where he learned the importance of working together and leadership roles! Larry involved himself in the Title industry in 2004 and has been working at 1st Service Title ever since. He is committed and has incredible people skills, which is an asset in the Title industry. Larry has two incredible kids and spends much of his time teaching them about life. He is involved in the coaching of his oldest kid for all sports.

Kristi was born and raised in New Berlin, Wisconsin. Throughout her high school years, she had a continued interest in real estate. She made a decision to follow this passion and became a licensed real estate salesperson with Shorewest Realtors. Shortly after, Kristi sold a home to Jeanette and Larry Liesen, the owners of 1st Service Title. They quickly realized the talent that Kristi had in this industry and offered her a position in their new company. The rest is history, as she continues to enjoy her adventures as a mortgage closing representative. Kristi is a married mother of 2 beautiful daughters. She spends her free time as both a soccer and dance mom.
Maggie Langford

Maggie was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She graduated Cum Laude from UW-Milwaukee with a Bachelors degree in Education. She quickly realized that her social and organizational talents could be put to great use in the Mortgage business. Maggie spent 4 years in the Title and Closing industry, working for 1st Service Title as an Examiner and Closing Representative, before venturing to the lending side of things where she worked as a license Loan Officer and Processor. After experiencing that side of the industry for 4 years, she came to find that Title & Closing is where she is meant to be. Maggie has two young children, and looks forward to balancing a great career helping others and being a Mom.

Taylor was born and raised in Milwaukee. After graduating high school, she continued her education at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She enjoyed her learning experience at UWM, but realized she wanted to attend school online. She transferred to the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Online and earned her Bachelors Degree in Organizational Administration. Taylor learned about 1st Service Title through a mutual friend and was eager to learn more about the Title Industry. She had the opportunity to join the great team and was hired as their receptionist. She now has moved her way up to a Closing Representative. In her free time, she enjoys making memories with her family and friends.
Cassie Sowinski

Cassie was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. After graduating high school, she decided to move to California. She later realized how much she missed home and decided to move back to Milwaukee to be with her family. Cassie's interest for real estate began when she was a young girl. She would attend showings with her mother, who was a real estate agent. Ironically, she later learned about the title business through family and was intrigued to learn more. She was hired as a receptionist and now works as a closing representative. Her people skills make her a wonderful asset to the 1st Service Team. In her free time, Cassie likes to spend quality time with her son and family.

Bailey was raised in Mukwonago, WI. After graduating high school, she decided to go off to UW- Stevens Point for a double major in Spanish and business administration. After 4 years of college and traveling abroad to Spain, she graduated and moved back to the Mukwonago area looking for something she loved. With many years serving tables, she knew she wanted a positive customer service environment. What better than working with people buying homes and saving money? She was given the opportunity and was introduced into the title industry and soon found out she'd love it. She was hired as the Spanish closing representative. In her free time, Bailey loves to take her Jeep off-roading and camping with her family.

Colleen was raised in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. She became a part of the title industry by chance. A few years after graduating high school, a family friend was working at a title company through a temporary service. The title company was looking for someone full time. That was the opportunity that changed her life. After training in each of the various departments, she found that being a title examiner was where she belonged. She has stayed in the title insurance business ever since.

Jennifer was born and raised in Brown Deer, Wisconsin. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee where she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice. She had worked many years in the banking industry before she decided to start a career in real estate. After some time as a licensed real estate agent, she was introduced to Jeanette through a mutual friend. She quickly made the change to work at 1st Service Title as a title examiner shortly after the company was opened. With the birth of her third child, she decided to step away and stay home to raise her three children. In 2018, she came back once again as a title examiner. She enjoys spending her free time with her husband, attending her three children's many sports and dance events, grilling and traveling.

Id first like to say how thrilled I am to be a part of 1st Service Title & Closing team! I started my career by joining the U.S. Marine Corps and becoming an Authorized Fiscal/Budget Custodian for 7th Motors Transport Battalion, 1st FSSG, Camp Pendleton, CA. After leaving The Corps, I joined First Wisconsin Bank of Racine as a Commercial Administrator for the Senior Vice President of the bank. From there, I traveled the world with my then husband and landed at Camp LeJeune, NC on the East coast where I joined BB&T Mortgage as a Loan Processor and where our son was born. I eventually made it back to Wisconsin, where I landed my first title company position as a Closer. Ive been in and out of banking and title throughout my career. My family means the world to me; Im married to a great guy named Joe, have a dog named Jack, my son and daughter-in-law have a great kid named Rhett and we all reside in my hometown of Racine.

Katina was born in Radford, Virginia. Her Father was in the Army, so she moved around a lot, attended a lot of schools and lived in beautiful places. She has lived in Germany, Hawaii, and countless States on the East Coast. Moving around throughout her life attributed to Katinas desire to help others through customer service and sales. She followed her dream of becoming a Real Estate Agent in 2013 and is excited to learn a new side of real estate working at 1st Service Title & Closing.

Debra was born and raised in Milwaukee WI, graduated from Pulaski Highschool and attended MATC for word processing. She took a break from MATC and got married in 1986. She started working in the banking industry as a teller and moved to be a secretary to the supervisor in the escrow department. Then she decided to leave in 1992 to be a stay at home mom for 8 years. Debra started working for real estate agents in 2000 and continued to do so until 2016. Debra decided to further her journey and change up her career to work at a title company. When she is not working, she is spending time with her family, traveling and sitting in her backyard relaxing.
